About StoreDuo
StoreDuo is a macOS app that lets you use Apple IDs from several countries on one Mac, switch between the US, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea and other App Stores in one click, download apps, and install them on your iPhone or iPad.
Why we built it
Your iPhone uses one App Store account under Media & Purchases at a time. You can switch it without signing out of iCloud, but moving between regional accounts still takes repeated sign-ins. StoreDuo keeps those accounts on your Mac so you can select a region while your session is valid, without switching the purchasing account on your iPhone.
How it works
- Add an Apple ID you are authorized to use for each region and verify it when Apple asks. An expired session or an Apple verification request may require reauthentication.
- Apple ID credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain and sent only to Apple's servers, never to ours.
- Our services handle your StoreDuo account and membership, and Stripe handles payments. See the privacy policy.
- Apps download straight from Apple; installing on an iPhone or iPad happens over cable or your local network.
- The Apple ID signed in on your devices never changes, so iCloud and purchase history are untouched.
What we promise
- We never collect your Apple ID password and never keep your download history on our servers.
- We're upfront about risk: Apple may apply risk controls to these interfaces, so we recommend a dedicated account per region.
